Long-term creep behavior of a short carbon fiber-reinforced PEEK at high temperature: Experimental and modeling approach

In this work, the time-dependent mechanical behavior of a short carbon fiber-reinforced PEEK is investigated at temperatures near and above glass transition temperature for stresses below damage threshold. An experimental procedure including creep/recovery tests dynamic was carried out by varying stress levels, fiber orientation. The shown to be linear viscoelastic Effect orientation on elastic similar. A involving time–temperature superposition principle (TTSP) set assess long-term provide reliable results.
